The stool's ingenuity lies in the 10mm wide gap running along the center of the seat surface, ingeniously designed to accommodate a display board during meetings. Meticulous consideration has been given to achieve the stool's perfect proportions, striking the right balance between stability and lightness.

TORAFU ARCHITECTS, founded in 2004 by Koichi Suzuno and Shinya Kamuro, embraces an architectural thinking approach to their diverse creative projects. Their impressive portfolio includes an extensive range of products, spanning architectural design, interior design, exhibition space design, product design, spatial installations, and film making. Notable works by the duo encompass projects such as 'TEMPLATE IN CLASKA,' 'NIKE 1LOVE,' 'HOUSE IN KOHOKU,' 'airvase,' 'Gulliver Table,' and 'BigT.' The outstanding 'Light Loom (Canon Milano Salone 2011)' earned the esteemed Grand Prize of the Elita Design Award.

In 2015, the coveted airvase design earned a place in the permanent collection of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, adding to their list of impressive achievements. Additionally, they have published noteworthy works such as the 'airvase book' and 'TORAFU ARCHITECTS 2004-2011 Idea + Process' (by BIJUTSU SHUPPAN-SHA CO., LTD.) in 2011, followed by the picture book titled 'TORAFU's Small City Planning' (by Heibonsha Limited) in 2012. In 2016, 'TORAFU ARCHITECTS Inside Out' (by TOTO Publishing) offered further insights into their creative journey.
